Reid drainvac semi-vortex pumps are popular drainage pumps, their urethane rubber impeller allows for pumping of water containing sand, stringy materials and suspended solids.

A unique feature; An agitator impeller is provided on the extension of the pump shaft. This not only prevents "air locking" which is caused by air building up inside the casing, but also reduces clogging when solid objects are sucked in.
